The opening scene is a blackout which may have some similar music to a music box playing lightly in the background to create an eerie effect. A strong spotlight will then light up a still, stylised ballerina which we hope to make ourselves, possibly of wood and wire (as the model will have to be flexible), with some reflective material to symbolise the mirrors and constant scruntany within the movie, "Black Swan".
From this position the ballerina comes to life and dances across the stage, while the spotlight follows. This presents many opportunities to introduce the credits within the opening frames.
We could then possibly create a spinning effect by positioning the tripod before the model, spining it around to create a spinning effect, while gradually zooming closer into the models exterior which could become the premises for the next scene.
The above is a representation of a close up still-image of the models head which could symbolise how the movie is littered with moments a hallucination and psychological insecurity within, while becoming the basis of the scenes to come.
We could then continue with the origami swan along with the numerous other effects we achieved as a group through experimentation to foreshadow the movies dramatic ending.
